1956 42' Flybridge Convertible Stock Cruiser
Location: Seattle, WA
Launched in 1956, GRETA represents the peak of cruiser design and manufacturing in the mid-nineteen fifties. What sets this boat apart from most other traditional designs of the era is its convertible sedan design. The salon doors open fully onto the cockpit, offering 20' of living space and eliminating that closed-in feeling inherent with a single entry door design. In addition, her reconfigured flybridge seats 6, and a custom aluminum alloy mast has been added to accommodate radar, chart plotter, depth sounder, and GPS.
Under her present owner, GRETA has emerged from a ten year restoration process, during which everything that could be upgraded, was upgraded. Powered by twin Crusader 454 gas engines, she has no trouble cruising at 12 knots with a top speed of 20 knots. These engines hum and have many more hours left in them before a re-power should be considered. She has undergone a complete rewire, while every interior and exterior surface has been stripped, sanded, and painted or varnished. Her 1" Honduran mahogany hull is in excellent condition, having been surveyed in 2018, while her #14 bronze fasteners look new. The hull, the decks and the superstructure should last another 50 years with proper preventative maintenance.

1968 53' Flush Deck Cruiser
Location: Marathon Key, Florida
WikiWiki, a 1968 53’ Flush deck Cruiser. She`s currently on the hard in Marathon Key, Florida where she has been a 10 year project and is about 85-90% finished. But now due to medical issues, she must find a new home. Power is by Cummins 903s (300 HP each) with Capital Gears and the generator is original. It`s the 3 stateroom version with 2 full heads. All the galley equipment has been replaced with new and the water systems have been rebuilt. She has never used compressors on 4 of the 5 water based AC systems + 2 rooftop RV type air conditioners, new mattresses in 2 staterooms and newly reupholstered dinette. A new fiberglass hull was built outside the original when the only woodworking guy in the Keys quit in the middle of bottom repair and with Awl grip she looks great. She needs about 10 man weeks of work to be ready to splash and is in a boatyard where there is no hassle doing things yourself. This boat is a great live aboard with headroom, even for someone who is 6’4”. Upper salon has huge bar with fridge and wrap around couch Asking $30K . Call Joe Walto @ 803-370-0696.
